Danfysik power supplies for superconducting magnets are designed to operate LTS or HTS superconducting magnets and offers typical functions and performance required for these magnet applications.
The power supplies are constant current regulated and uses a DCCT current transducer to achieve high stability.
All power supplies are operational from remote and from the local control panel. They are equipped with protection circuits for both internal and external interlock inputs for typical functions like temperature monitoring, over load and more.
The power supplies are designed for industry standard 19” racks and can be delivered in racks from Danfysik or as stand alone products.
Quench Detection System
Danfysik Quench Detection circuit is designed with focus on the protection of the superconducting magnet. The Quench detection circuit can be combined with a fast DC breaker and dump circuit for full protection of the superconducting magnet.
A power supply with linear transistor bank for very low noise output with <2ppm or <10ppm long term stability versions with > 2000A and <400V operation. The power supply can operate in 1 quadrant for normal magnets or 2 quadrants for super conducting magnets. The power supply is water cooled.
A thyristor (SCR) controlled power supply with <100ppm long term stability versions ranging up to 20,000 A or higher. The power supply can operate in 1 quadrant for room temperature magnets or 2 quadrants for super conducting magnets. The power supply is water cooled.
A switch-mode power supply with 10ppm long term stability with > 2000A and < 2000V operation. The power supply can operate in 1, 2 or 4 quadrants for room temperature magnets, superconducting magnets. The power supply recovers the magnet energy when operating in AC/ramping mode. The power supply is water cooled.
